Winter 2008

Cold weather and frost started in late November, with some rain and even occasional sunshine .  We are busy pruning during the dry days. The mustard and cover crop started growing early and is already high.  We are preparing for bottling in March. We will make our final blending decisions on the Pine Station Red Table Wine.  We will also be bottling 2006 Merlot and Zinfandel.

Joining us last October was Andrea Milat, 25, Bob and Joyce's daughter.  She is a graduate of Humboldt State University with a degree in  Environmental/Soil Science.  She will be working at various jobs in the winery and vineyard.  She brings lots of enthusiastic ideas and a passion for wine.  Come in and meet Andrea!
