Spring 2008

This early spring, with cool days and a dry March, has seen slow growth in the vineyard .  Cultivating and suckering ( removing unwanted growth) will soon  be finished.  Wind machines have already been turned on a few mornings for frost protection. We will continue to monitor the night time weather until May.

We have two new wine releases: 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2005 Pine Station Red Table Wine. Our '04 Cabernet was a very small production, only 99 cases. It's an excellent vintage and is going fast.  Our '05 Pine Station Red Table Wine is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvigon, 35% Zinfandel and 20% Merlot; a delicious combination and an excellent value.
