| 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Description The bold richness of Cabernet Sauvignon makes it Napa Valley's most sought after wine. That richness is why it is an excellent wine for cellaring for 10 years from its vintage date or more. It maintains its character and flavor becoming more smooth and mellow. Our vineyard with its gravelly soil and mid-valley climate, enables us to obtain optimum ripeness. Harvest is early in the season-never picking any later than September- but the fruit characteristics are fully developed. Because of the concentrated fruit, we age the wine for two years, in 100%French oak barrels. Our 2006 Cabernet has a well-rounded finish with good integration of fruit and oak. Aged in 100% French Oak(50% new barrels). This wine has aromas of blackberry and light cedar. 100% varietal, 13% alcohol and 147 cases produced.
