Our second label wine is 100% Estate Bottled. The name was found when researching the original family home, which was built in 1877. The area or township near the now-defunct railroad stop on Zinfandel Lane and Highway 29 was called "Pine Station". The lithograph of this property during that period is shown on the label.
Pine Station is a red table wine (a blend of up to three of our red varietals), made to be approachable and consumable in its youth. The vintages vary in quantity each year depending on the quality of the component wine each harvest. The percentages of the blend depends on quantity of variety in each vintage. We offer it as an affordable everyday choice.
Our 2010 Pine Station Red Table Wine is comprised of Zinfandel (60%), Cabernet (40%). It is full-bodied with rich aromas and flavors. An excellent house red that exhibits spiciness from the Zinfandel, rich fullness of berry from the Cabernet. 15.8% alcohol and 240 cases produced.
