PINE STATION RED TABLE WINE
Our second label wine is 100% Estate Bottled. The name was found when researching the original family home, built in 1877. The area or township near the now-defunct railroad stop on Zinfandel Lane and Highway 29 was called "Pine Station" just like Rutherford and Oakville Station. The lithograph (seen above) of the property during that period is on the label.
Pine Station is a red table wine (a blend of up to three of our red varietals), made to be approachable and consumable in its youth. The vintages vary in quantity each year depending on the quality of the component wine each harvest. The percentages of the blend depends on quantity of variety in each vintage. |
